The Methods of Judging the Texture of the Raymond Mill's Components

As a kind of common ore powder grinding equipment, the Raymond mill has some key components, which have an influence on the normal operation of it. Shibo Heavy Machinery, as an ore grinding and processing machinery manufacturer, here, will talk about the selection of Raymond mill's key components in texture with you.

The grinding rollers and the grinding rings of the Raymond mill have an influence on the working efficiency of it. The material is ground into fine powder by the grinding rollers' press on the grinding rings. Thus, the better the quality of them, the quick-wear parts, is, the more completely the machine grind the material. If, after a short time of usage, there is bad abrasion of them, the working efficiency will be low and the requirement cannot be met in output of the final product.

In general, the Raymond mill can be made from high-manganese steel, improved carbon structural steel, or cast iron. Then, what can we do to distinguish the textures of the components of the Raymond mill purchased by us?

In general, high-manganese steel is nonmagnetic. However, in the production and process, there may be a little magnetism on the oxide layer on its surface and the repaired part of it.

As the components of the Raymond mill, the grinding rollers and the grinding rings, made from high-manganese steel, are of very high hardness and toughness. Therefore, it is very hard to process them. In general, only the inner hole and the both faces of the high-manganese steel rollers should be processed other than the appearance. If the grinding rollers or grinding rings are very smooth and nice, they must not be made from high-manganese material.
